Our Story
Our journey began with the addition of a beloved companion cat back in 2015, Phoebe, a beautiful Blue Scottish Straight. Amazed by her delightful personality, we fell in love with this breed and decided to share our passion for these wonderful cats with others.
In 2022, we embarked on a journey to the UK with the intention of finding the perfect King and Queen for our cattery. However, fate led us to Ukraine, where we discovered our beautiful cat, Mira. Shortly after, we were introduced to the magnificent King Alan with the dominant blue-eye gene and the brilliant bi-color Queen Vita. This serendipitous encounter marked the beginning of our cattery's story. We knew immediately that we wanted to honor our first Queen, Mira, by creating an unforgettable legacy. Thus, "BritishMirth" was born, a name that pays homage to Mira and encapsulates the joy and laughter that our furry companions bring into our lives. Our cattery is proudly registered with CFA.ORG.
While the CFA does not register bicolor pedigree cats like Vita, we sought a more inclusive organization with democratic rules and standards. Consequently, we established a second cattery, "Britsofusa," which is registered with TICA. We are committed to providing a long, passionate, and fulfilling experience for all who visit us. Our goal is to spread happiness and laughter through our endearing cats, and we believe that our feline companions will bring joy and mirth to all who encounter them.
Our commitment to authenticity and transparency extends to our social media presence, where we use the name "Britsofusa" for our Instagram account. While this may seem like a formality, we believe it is important for prospective pet owners to have confidence in the purebred lineage and verified ancestry of our kittens, which can be traced back up to 6 generations. Nestled in Central Jersey, our cattery is a place where cats and kittens thrive in an environment of harmony and enduring love, as they are cherished members of our family.

Training and Development
Our kitties go to your home both litter and carrier trained. Additionally, we pay serious attention to their behavioral and physical development, teaching them to be outstanding family members.
Contracts and Registration
All kittens are registered with TICA. We provide new owners with legal agreements, medical summaries and pedigree paperwork.
Pick-up and Delivery
We ship across the continent only including Canada and Mexico.
Though it is recommended for the little cuties to find their home locally within 25-50 miles to reduce any stress related to travelling.
We care and support
The kitties go through health checks, testing and vaccination.
They go to new homes with a tote bag full of treats. We keep in touch with all our clients, guide them through parenting and track our kittens/cats lives.
